Create a shelter

This creates a shelter organization and generates exactly two logins: one Admin and one Volunteer. Save them immediately.

Tip: Keep usernames simple (e.g. admin, frontdesk) so staff can remember them.

Starting inventory (optional)

Upload a CSV or Excel file and your items + current stock are loaded the moment the shelter is created.

Columns: name, category, unit, low_stock_threshold, starting_qty. Only name is required. Replace the example row in the template with your items.

Client roster (optional)

Upload your client list and it's ready the moment the shelter is created. Only full_name is required — leave anything else blank.

Volunteer hours (optional)

Carry over each volunteer's total hours from your old records. One entry per volunteer, logged as an imported starting balance.
